Yes... They call me Pastor Bug. I have had the privilege of serving with Newport Hills Community Church since 2001. By GOD's grace I became the Assistant Pastor in 2011 and after 2 years of fulfilling the supporting role, I was installed as Senior Pastor in November of 2013. I have been blessed for the last 11 years to serve the Community as a whole and the people of NHCC. It is my passion to see people connect to JESUS in an ongoing and dynamic relationship and grow together as the Body of CHRIST.
Many years ago I was encouraged to pray over a life verse and what that might be... The LORD directed me to Ephesians 3: 8 & 9
8 To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, 9 and to bring to light for everyone what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God, who created all things...

The Lord started my journey toward serving Him with Newport Hills Community Church by building within me the importance of working with confidential information.  As a result, seven years ago I was asked to step into the Financial Secretary role.  It has been a blessing being able to serve the people of our church by keeping their giving confidential and making sure their giving is tracked correctly.

How the Lord got me started in bookkeeping... I was asked to start helping the office admin, at our old church, with the bookkeeping side of it.  I was able to quite my over night job and start working at the church, that also allowed me to continue to homeschool Marquis. Since then I have helped several small business and church's with their bookkeeping. I really love the people I have helped over the years. I am married to Dan and we have a son, Marquis.
